the real Cowboys at our 23rd Annual Los Fresnos P.R.C.A. Rodeo!
Visit us if you're in South Texas during the first full weekend of February
for what
is now called, "The Biggest Little Rodeo in Texas." Los Fresnos with its
City Charm and Country Flavor, turns into a diamond in the ruff anytime
the Rodeo swings by.
We boast a bunch of the best NFR Finalists every year!
We also have Competitors and National Finals Rodeo stock. Los Fresnos Rodeo
is the best in South Texas! We're still debating if its all of Texas...and
no, we aren't bragging...that's just the way it is.
Our Stock Contractor is Mr. Stace Smith of STACE SMITH PRO RODEOS: EIGHT Time Stock Contractor of the Year. He's been reigning champion from 2004 - 2010, and if you like to see the Rodeo folks... YOU HAVE TO EXPERIENCE a STACE SMITH produced Rodeo. This years Rodeo Entertainment line up also includes a live concert on February 4th, 2012, at 8:00 p.m.
We will also have our annual Los Fresnos Rodeo Parade on Saturday,
February 5th. This years parade has a "Rodeo/Western" Theme,
and is hosted by The Los Fresnos Chamber of Commerce.
Parade line up begins at 10:00 a.m., and the parade begins at 11:00 a.m. Staging will begin in front of Los Fresnos City Hall on Brazil Street and proceed East down Hwy 100 then end at the Rodeo Grounds.
Plaques are given for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each category. Winners are announced Saturday by the Rodeo Committee. Winners not attending can pick up their plaques at the Chamber office.

It’s time again to round up all the area
crafters and those from afar. This year the Rodeo takes place the weekend of
February 3rd, 4th, & 5th. Each year the Los Fresnos Rodeo attracts from
7,000-8,000 people from all over. This year is an Arts and Crafts show.
Suggested Booth Set- Up Times are Friday noon, Saturday 10:00 a.m., and
Sunday 11:00 a.m. **Note: HWY 100 will be closed Saturday from 10:30
a.m.-12:00 noon for Rodeo Parade. Click
